Orpheo is the designer and producer of the immersive show Remparts et Lumières.
Founded in 1992, today Orpheo is a key player in providing cutting-edge guided-tour solutions for culture, heritage and tourism. The company develops innovative visitor experiences for numerous museums and cultural sites in France and abroad. Its complementary activities allow it to master the entire value chain for the production and operation of immersive exhibitions and tours.
With 30 years of experience, the company has built a strong international network with 12 subsidiaries around the world, operating in more than 40 countries. Today, Orpheo manufactures in France more than 300,000 devices, produces thousands of hours of cultural content and develops hundreds of mobile applications to visit the world. The Centre des Monuments Nationaux is a century-old institution, heir to the Caisse Nationale des Monuments Historiques et Préhistoriques created in 1914.
The heritage code entrusts the CMN with three major complementary missions: the conservation of historical monuments and their collections, the promotion of their knowledge and their presentation to the widest possible public, and the development of their attendance and use.
The CMN opens to visitors and runs nearly 100 national monuments belonging to the State and spread throughout the country: the castle and ramparts of the city of Carcassonne, the abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel, the castles of Angers and Azay-le-Rideau, the Arc de Triomphe and the Sainte-Chapelle, to name but a few.
With more than 20 international shows, Les Allumeurs de Rêves amaze their audiences with enchanting and magical light projections.
Founded in 2014 by Gilbert Coudène, co-founder of CitéCréation and ÉCohlCité, the company specialises in the design of sound and light shows for the general public on prestigious French heritage monuments.
For this Remparts et Lumières show, Les Allumeurs de Rêves leveraged their expertise to accompany part of the artistic direction and the video mapping.
